Technicians- Entry level and experienced, prefer Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology and/or certifications (DOT Level I or ACI Certification). Consists of field or lab testing of soils, concrete and asphalt.
Construction Inspector- Must be familiar with highway construction specifications and have previous field experience.
Project Engineers - Quality Control testing of soils, concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing and asphalt materials.
ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
Hydrogeologist - Columbus, Ohio
Hydrogeologist - Columbus, Ohio The Environmental Division of CTL Engineering is seeking a qualified and experienced person for a senior level Hydrogeologist position. B.S. ( M.S. preferred) in Geology/ Hydrogeology or related studies, Certified Professional designation is preferred ( as granted by the Ohio EPA), and over 5 years experience managing soil/ groundwater remediation projects. The potential candidate must have strong technical knowledge for hydrogeological investigations and interpretations, as well as overall knowledge of environmental regulations pertaining to underground storage tanks and soil/ groundwater contamination and remediation. Salary is commensurate with a full benefit package (including Employee Stock Ownership Plan).
Wetlands Scientist- Columbus, Ohio
The Environmental Division of CTL Engineering is seeking a qualified and experienced person for a Wetlands Scientist position. B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Science with course emphasis on ecology, botany, and wetland related studies. A minimum of 3 years of field experience in delineating jurisdictional waters of the state, including wetlands, preparing permit applications and coordinating with the Army Corp of Engineers, and preparation of annual monitoring reports is required. Experience in the preparation of wetland mitigation plans and their implementation is a plus. The candidate must be familiar with the Ohio EPA's Water Quality certification program and the ORAM methods. The candidate must have strong academic background and writing skills and must be able to work with minimum supervision. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING
Geotechnical Engineers
Entry Level (E.I.T) or experienced (P.E) to conduct field observation, lab testing analysis, report prep and writing. Must be detail oriented, excellent written/ oral skills and the ability to develop new clients. Previous internship or co-op experience very helpful.
Soils Lab Technicians
Must have previous experience in soils lab testing and data entry. Must be able to work independently and be capable of lifting 50-75 pounds on a regular basis. Will consider a student with soils lab experience.
Drillers- North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia
Experience in auger, mud rotary and NX rock coring operating various types of rotary drill rigs for split spoon soil sampling and installation of monitoring. Prefer 40 hr. OSHA trained, CDL helpful, must have a clean driving record.
Driller Helper- North Carolina, Indiana, Ohio and West Virginia
Previous experience helpful, willing to train. Mechanically inclined, able to lift 50-75 pounds on a regular basis, willing to work in adverse conditions on a Soils Sampling Drill Rig. Must have a clean driving record.
FACILITY MANAGEMENT
Roofing Project Engineer- Columbus / Cleveland- Ohio and North Carolina
P.E. with minimum of 5 years experience in Roofing Engineering/ Consulting. Must be a team player with excellent people skills, capable of developing new business and expanding on existing client base. Supervise and coordinate job activities. Understanding of BUR, Single Ply and Mod-Bit roofing systems required. Knowledge of I.R. Nuclear Moisture Survey and AutoCAD. Recent Grad with AIA, Civil- Structural Engineering. Good verbal and written skills required.
