CTL’s Mining Engineering Group provides
environmental impact statements and site evaluations, permit
preparations, hydrogeologic evaluations, ventilation design,
reclamation design and oversight. This group, in combination
with our drilling services and various testing departments,
provides full scope services to the mining industry. CTL’s
laboratories are certified to properly perform the water
and overburden analysis described by various state and federal
regulatory requirements for controlling and treating site
drainage. Exploration equipment and remote video camera
monitoring are used to prepare accurate mine maps for reclamation,
mine closure and subsidence stabilization measures. CTL
is also considered an International Mine Subsidence Expert.
