CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

From project inception to completion, CTL Engineering provides quality construction administration services for both public and private projects. CTL Engineering recognizes the importance in delivering a project that is on schedule and under budget to the owner, while maintaining a high level of quality. We achieve these goals by being meticulous throughout the pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases of a project.

CTL Engineering is capable of providing the following construction administration services.

Pre-Construction

• Review of design documents for constructability.
• Coordinate the preparation of the final contract documents for bidding.
• Solicit and obtain interest from contractors for bidding.
• Evaluation of bids and recommendation to Owner.
• Conduct scope review meetings with the apparent low bidder(s).
• Conduction of a pre-construction meeting with all project stakeholders to outline project requirements, expectations, and goals.

Construction

• Interact on a daily basis with the owner, design team, and prime contractor(s) to resolve construction issues expeditiously and efficiently.
• Conduct weekly progress and coordination meetings in order to address any construction issues, provide updates regarding submittals, requests for information, change orders, and to update the project schedule.
• Review and approve shop drawings and other project submittals from the prime contractor(s).
• Review and respond to requests for information submitted by the prime contractor(s).
• Review and approve monthly pay applications submitted by the prime contractor(s).
• Review and approve or disapprove requests for change orders submitted by the prime contractor(s).
• Prepare daily inspection reports.
• Review of as-built drawings on a weekly basis.
• Verification and acceptance of specified materials and associated quantities.

Close-out

• Creation and monitoring of the punch list in order to identify deficient or incomplete contract items.
• Coordinate the completion and delivery of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranties to the Owner.
