A Message from our President
Dear Fellow Employee Owners;
CTL Engineering, as many of you know, had experienced a rough early 2009; however, we ended the year in the black. This edition of the newsletter has been devoted to informing people of all the positive things going on at CTL.
I am sure all of you now know that as of December 2009, Industrial Communication & Sound, Inc. (ICS) with its headquarters in Cincinnati has merged with CTL. I welcome all the employees of ICS into the CTL family. Together we will have fun and expand to a successful organization. Already about 4 employees of CTL’s Cincinnati office are working on ICS projects, thanks to the teamwork and vision of Allen Volz, Rob Rieman and Paul Motylinski.
Special thanks to the Morgantown, West Virginia office for their best year ever. The Environmental department in Morgantown, West Virginia has been in the forefront of the Marcella Shale related project. Congratulations and thank you to the group for being leaders in their field.
Also in 2009, we added a new capability to do Concrete Pile Integrity Testing. This has kept Roger Evans and Walt Rough from our Columbus, Ohio very busy.
We have expanded our service potential in Indiana to provide Environmental Engineering and Brownfield Restoration services. And in Ohio, our capability in doing Asbestos Assessment and Testing has been improved with a new PCM Laboratory.
A number of new contracts have been garnered and we are optimistic for the year 2010. I would like to take the opportunity to recognize the positive contribution from investments made by Ali Jamshidi to the bottom line. I urge all of you to continue to look at the future with a “half glass full” vision.
As usual my door is always open.
Sincerely,
C.K. Satyapriya
President & CEO
