GBQ had the pleasure of assuming the role of CTL’s independent ESOP valuation firm with your 12/31/09 ESOP valuation.  GBQ has one of the largest, most experienced valuation practices in the Midwest, consisting of 9 professionals who complete 200 valuations per year, including approximately 60 for ESOP companies.  GBQ’s Director of Valuation Services, Brian Bornino, is an active member of the ESOP Association, serving as a frequent speaker on ESOP valuation topics and working with Ali Jamshidi on the Ohio Chapter’s Executive Committee.  Although GBQ has extensive experience in valuing engineering firms, we found CTL to be very unique in its breadth of services, remarkable success, and positive employee culture.  In a year when almost every company we valued had a decline in value, we were very impressed that CTL was able to earn an increase in share value.  We are proud to have the opportunity to work with such a prominent company in the ESOP community, and we look forward to working with CTL for many years to come.
