On Tuesday, October 6th CTL's Indianapolis office in conjunction with the City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works, Christopher Burke Engineering and IUPUI University (Indiana and Purdue University) was here in Indianapolis conducted a Student Field Day for one of their Soils and Foundations classes.

The purpose of this initiative was to allow students to acquire hands on exposure outside of the classroom to real engineering applications. Since CTL is working locally on the City's Levee Accreditation program, this was a perfect opportunity for us to set this up. A Power Point presentation was conducted in the classroom and then proceeded to go out to one of the Levees where we had a Drill Rig set up for a field discussion. The feedback from the Dean of the Engineering School and the Professor teaching the class was very positive and they would like for CTL to be involved to the extent of becoming part of the coursework each semester for specific classes.
