"Dear Fellow Employee Owners"

Happy New Year. First, CTL Engineering as a whole had a good year. The Morgantown, WV office had a significant growth in revenue over the last year and I extend the Board of Director’s and my Thank you and Congratulations. We are beginning the year with a good backlog in most of the offices and are slated for significant projects. We are aggressively seeking staff in almost all of the offices to better serve our clients.

Operationally we have improved the use of technology and continuing to invest to improve responsiveness and setting up contingencies. The use of Business Management Database software as well as other software is increasing. Our intent is to make it more user friendly and useful and also to eliminate duplication of effort. Further, we invested in new equipment to increase or augment our services and improve our responsiveness. I would like to thank all of you for your committed diligence to improve.

I am sure all of you have heard of the acquisition of MLS. This company provides services to the telecommunication industry in various parts of the country. They have and are providing services in approximately 36 states of the US. This acquisition is exciting because we are now a single source provider to the telecommunication industry and will be able to cross sell to our existing client bases. This will help reduce management time and expenses to our clients.

I will close this letter with a quote that Patricia Zimmaro, Business Development Director for our Indianapolis office, sent to me:
