Soils labs across the company are enjoying a big sigh of relief. This spring our Wapakoneta, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Columbus offices were all assessed by AMRL, AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory, as a part of their two year lab assessment cycle... Read Full Article

Cad Training:

This spring the Morgantown Office had Cad Research conduct a training session covering the fundamentals of Civil 3D. This course was designed for cad operators already proficient in Land Desktop software, managing points, creating surfaces, laying out parcels, producing grading with related calculations and generating alignments for pipelines, sites, and roadways ... Corporate Safety Committee:


At the beginning of the year, Jim Crowley, Corporate Safety Officer, assessed CTL Engineering’s EMR (Experience Modification Rate) and saw room for improvement. This EMR number is very important to CTL Engineering because not only does a low number help the company be more competitive, but it also gives company discounts on insurance and BWC premiums, which in turn means higher profit and increase in ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) value ....
